What Now?, for flute choir, was inspired by Arvo Part’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, similarly employing a canon to create an “endless” melody. The title What Now? is designed as a request for the listener to ponder and reflect. What does the future hold for us? The future is unpredictable and dark, yet we move on with our lives embarrassing the unknown
