Program Notes:

Composed for the Longy Woodwind Quintet, Rainy Day in the Village was inspired by one of my favorite television shows, Naruto. I aimed to capture a feeling of nostalgia and a longing for home, envisioning a small village hidden in the leaves, tucked away in isolation with no struggles knowing only peace. Though this dream is not reflected in reality, Rainy Day in the Village seeks to tell a story of the fictional village, a peaceful haven.
