Program Notes:

Reflections, for violin and piano, was written in 2019 as an homage to Rachmaninoff. I wanted to express my gratitude to the composer for giving so much beautiful music to the world. I was drawn to this idea after hearing a lovely motive from his piece, Vocalise, for voice and piano. The motive is featured throughout both the violin and piano parts.
